Packing yourself? Do this
- Heavy things in small boxes, light things in big ones
- Tape the bottom of every box twice
- Label each box with the room and what's inside
- Keep a first night box: kettle, chargers, sheets, toiletries
- Have everything taped up before we arrive. Half-packed boxes add time.
Questions
How long does packing take?
As a guide, a studio or 1 bed takes 2 packers 3 to 4 hours, a 2 bed 4 to 6 hours, and a 3 bed takes 3 packers about 6 hours.
Do I need to be home?
No, as long as we can get in. It helps if you're there at the start to show us what's going and what's staying.
Can I add packing later?
Yes, up to 3 days before your move.
